Features Controled By The COMMANDO Factory Remotes
1. TRIGGER DISABLE FEATURE
To disable the trigger wires
(Blue, Blue/White, White)
Press button 1. on the remote
(siren will chirp once)
and then, button 2. within 3 seconds,
(siren will chirp once again)
This will in effect, disable the
the trigger wires for your alarm.
2. SILENT ARM & DISARM
3. ACCIDENTAL DISARM
Turn on the ignition, then press
& hold button #2 for 5 seconds.
When the siren chirps with a double
pulse, you are now in "SILENT MODE"
Now when arming or disarming, no chirps
will occur, however The parking lights will
continue to flash arm & disarm confirmation.
(To go back to "chirp mode", just repeat these steps.
In this case, insert key in ignition and
press & hold the valet button for 5 seconds,
until you hear the siren chirp 2 times
This will disable the alarm. Repeat this step
to go back to armed mode.
PROGRAMING COMMANDO 501 S REMOTES & FEATURES
1. CODE TEACHING
Turn the ignition key as follows:
ON/OFF, ON/OFF, ON you will then hear the siren chirp
Leaving the ignition in the ON position, press the
VALET button for 5 seconds and wait for 3 chirps from
the siren. Now press button 1 on the first remote. The siren
will chirp once confirming the programing. If you have another
remote to be programed, press button one on the 2nd transmitter
within 10 seconds of the first. Repeat this process for a third
remote if desired. Now press the VALET button until the LED
begins flashing, the alarm has now learned your transmitters.
Remote Programable Features
To Enter Programing Mode:
Note: You must have the Green (+)Ignition Wire from the Commando connected to your Vehicles
(+)Ignition Wire for Programming to Work.
TO PROGRAM FEATURE #1
STEP 1. Turn the key to the "ON" position.
STEP 2. Press the override switch 5 times slowly.
(lights will flash to confirm)
STEP 3. To change (Feature # 1) Passive> ON or Active> OFF
You must press the override switch 1 more time.
(lights will flash to confirm)
(now you are in program mode)
STEP 4. Now press button 1 on the transmitter to turn "ON"
Feature or button 2 to turn "OFF" Feature .
NOTE: This all must be done simultaneously
TO PROGRAM FEATURE #2
STEP 1. Turn the key to the on position.
STEP 2. Press the override switch 5 times slowly.
(lights will flash to confirm)
STEP 3. To change (Feature # 2) Ignition autolock> ON
No Ignition Autolock> OFF
You must press the override switch 2 more times.
(Lights will flash to confirm)
(Now you are in program mode)
STEP 4. Now press button 1 on the transmitter to turn "ON"

or button 2 to turn "OFF" Feature .
NOTE: This all must be done simultaneously
TO RESET REMOTES TO FACTORY DEFAULT SETTINGS
Enter the programing mode as shown above, press and
release buttons 1 & 2 together for 5 seconds, you will
get 3 light flashes to confirm this operation. You have
now put the alarm back into original, or default mode.
